It’s all change in the UN Social 500 this month!

Thanks to some direct suggestions I’ve received via email and twitter, I’ve removed a few people who no longer work for the UN. Let me know if you’ve been dropped off incorrectly. Anyone who is a current consultant can still be recognised on the UN Social 500.

Employee Advocacy is a growing trend for organisations large and small. It’s often described as a way of leveraging the passion of the people within your organisation to spread the word, educate the market and help find solutions to organisation issues.

Don’t forget however, that it is not about rewarding staff for sharing marketing messages, this can only ever create a short term blip.

For long term success, a great employee advocacy program must recognise effective advocacy, amplify great content  and help to build individual capacities and personal brands.

It’s wonderful to see the UN ecosystem trailblazing true employee advocacy with the UN Social 500 program.
